Hi can I just say that when I moved to XP I had serious problems with
FTP Explorer.

I'm not sure whether or not FTP Explorer is being supported still, is
it?

At work I regularly was unable to use it and at home it didn't work at
all on XP.

I moved over to CUTE FTP, which you do have to pay for, but it's
beautiful.

If you do want to get Cute FTP, I'm using version 5.0 perfectly, the
basic package. Note that Cute FTP pro is not as accessible.

Thanks Adrian, am I right in thinking that FTP Explorer has to be paid
for though? I had a look at this one as I'd heard it mentioned of
before on this list, but as far as I could see, it had to be bought.
Perhaps I've got this wrong. As I said, my employer doesn't want to pay
for it!

Ftp explorer is good - a lot like windows explorer in layout so nice an
familiar. Haven't used any ftp clients for 3 or 4 years now but at that
time I much prefrred this to cute ftp which got a lot of
recommendations.

Subject: [access-uk] Easy to Use FTP Client?

Hi All,

I'm looking for an FTP Client that is easy to use with JAWS. I need to
use this at work. My colleagues are using FileZilla which was fairly
easy to use except that I couldn't navigate through the file list within
folders as it keeps minimising the window on the screen. My manager has
asked me to look for an alternative free FTP client. Anyone any ideas
of ones they have used successfully with JAWS, or, if you've used
FileZilla perhaps you could give me some tips?

Many thanks
