[access-uk] Re: EBAY

Kevin

Thanks for this, and I will keep it for future reference. Certainly the
form I filled in was rather tricky, and if they offer and easier option I
will try to find it. Perhaps the verification code was needed because I am
a brand new member and this was my first sale.

Hi Wendy.

I'm interested to hear about that verification call. I've recently sold
around 6 or 7 items on E-Bay and didn't encounter that process when listing.

What I tended to do was select the 'Sell' link towards the top of that very
cluttered page and then on the resulting page let the listing default to the

'quick listing' option. This gives you a cut down and easy to fill in
version of the selling form where all I added was description, starting
price, postage details and duration of auction. For a number of items I
also uploaded a picture taken on a mobile phone which was also very simple
to do.

All of my auctions remained dormant until the last day although I did
receive questions from perspective buyers on all of them during the auction
period. All listing id's were generated automatically on saving the listing

and no verification calls required.
