ok so (oh god help me) how do you disable NOD32 temporarily in an accessible 
way? I bet I'm going to have to uninstall it and reinstall it after I've 
completed the download of Nokia PC suite aren't I. 

I can only apologise for the volume of emails I've sent to this list this 
evening on this one single issue. I've been trying to load talks onto my mobile 
since opm

      Don't worry, not just you who gets confused between the two versions. 
They are poorly labelled. (eng) is for UK English and (enu) is for US English. 
The (en) stands for English, (u) stands for US and (g) stands for god knows 
what. Unless it stands for Great Britain I don't know! Not really sure why 
aren't they labelled en_uk and en_us.

      If you go to the Comp Room Services site and download the Talks zipped 
file, inside the zip file you will find (Eloquence_eng_6_1_123). This is the 
file that you are after, well, hopefully!

        gosh this is taking much longer than I expected. I've been trying first 
to find an accessible site where I can download Nokia PC Suite and which I'm 
failing with and I can't seem to find a clearly marked US eloquence version of 
Talks 5. 

        Any further help appreciated. On Computer Room Services site I see a 
helpful link which downloads immediately from their home page but as I was 
given no choice of accent, I assume it's the UK one and I want the US one.

            I want to download the latest version of Nuance Talks with a US 
eloquence voice. I can't stick the British accented one. 

            In the past I seem to remember seeing links to whichever version I 
wanted but I can't seem to find them now.
