O, thanks George, I do feel dumb now! I never thought of trying netshopping
for what I already knew about, just assumed it was purely to find something
new and wonderful, Thanks for waking me up to reality! Thanks, Christine

Hi Christine,

It depends what you want to buy. If you know what you are
looking for, perhaps because you have seen one at a friend's
place, shopping on the internet saves you walking from shop
to shop in the pouring rain to see who has the best price -
or even just the painful task of telephoning round and
getting some dimwit shop assistant on the wrong department
who knows nothing about what you want.

Only yesterday I wanted to get a decent video card for my
home Windows Vista system. I asked on a Vista internet list
I am a member of, and got some interesting replies. Knowing
the guys I made my choice, shopped around, and in about 10
minutes, found Misco doing the best deal for me. Job done,
paid for, and it will be delivered to home this week. (And
that was on Easter Sunday when even PC World was shut!)

If you know what you want, or have a fair idea, Internet
shopping can pay handsome dividends.

George.

Sorry, I don't understand, surely if one is Buying Online
you do Need to See what your buying?? I have Never bought
anything online as I am totally blind and can't Imagine how
we can Buy what we Can't see, Isn't it safer to Go to the
shop and Touch the item? I hate to think I am completely
Ignorant, this is something that really intreagues me?

Just asked my son though and he has looked at the sight, he
can see what you mean, there's certainly a lot of images on
there now, he didn't know it had changed! Christine W.-----

OK. Am I being stupid or is the Dixons website now totally
inaccessible?
Thanks.
