[access-uk] Disk Imaging software

Hello friends,
I have just had to re-build my machine and am considering how I can maybe use
imaging software to take an image of it.
Does anyone know of anything that is accessible that they have tested that i
can use to backup an image to my USB laptop drive.
It is the restore procedure that I would imagine is tricks, do you need to do
it from a boot disk with a hardware screen reader and MS-DOS?
