I don't know what others willl think but the 4.21 firmware which was the 
last original release from Dec is probably the one you should stick with and 
or if you are running an earlier version it is obtainable most easily from 
www.gwmicro.com.  There are update versions beyond that produced by Fonix 
who took it on after but whether they constitute an improvement is a matter 
for debate I think.

I have a deck talk hardware sinth  its about nine years old and have just
started using it again just as a backup I read on a list that there is new
firmware for it where can it be gotten from and will it improve the
pronunciation of the deck talk am using windows X P and office X P just
encase it makes a difference  I know I will have to send it to a dealer to
have it updated so what I need to know is who are the dealers for the deck
talk
