Dave - thanks for the suggestion; the reason I don't want to do that, is 
because I would need to buy music discs rather than data discs to do this, 
and I'd finish up with an average of 10 discs per book! Is this what you 
meant? -

| Why not try making a daisy recording on the PTR1, and then create an
| audio disc also using the PTR1.  Then put the disc in your PC and rip it
| to the PC using windows media player, converting it to MP3 in the
| process.
