Hi Alex

Now don't get me started on that one! (smile). Having lived in Scotland for
many years, I asked RNIB to transfer my supplement from north to my region
in Northampton. And what do you think I was told? "Sorry, we can't do
that, it screws up our system". I was told that I couldn't get the Anglia
supplement until I bought my next 12 months subscription to the TV Times.
To tell the truth, when I bought it again last summer, I forgot to change
it, so now I'll have to wait until it's up for renewal once more. Not sure
I've ever come across anything as daft, but never mind, I can live with it.

I know I could get DAISY listings, use the Internet, MyDigi Guide etc, but I
sometimes like to have Braille and be completely away from the PC and audio.

Hi Jackie,

Thank you for your reply to this thread.

I think the Daisy TV Listings may become useful to me once I have Freeview
set up.

You mentioned in your message that you receive the Braille TV Guide, and
while I agree with your point that the Braille TV Guide itself only lists
ITV programs for the London area, (most of which are broadcast nationally),
I wondered in view of your message whether you had opted to receive the
Television Guide supplement which gives regional variations for ITV.

Knowing which town you're working in these days, I'd hazard a guess that if
you're not living too far from work, i.e.
within the midlands area, the supplement you'd need is the same as I
currently receive, Television Guide Supplement East, as this covers the
Central TV Region.
