[access-uk] Re: DVD drives

Douglas, all drives that can read DVD's will also read CD's too. They're just the same as far as the drive's concerned. Hope that helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Douglas Harrison" <harrison1d@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: [access-uk] DVD drives

I have been studying the specs of some Toshiba laptops and I note that the
expression "DVD-RW/DVD-RAM" is used.
Am I correct in assuming that these drives will take normal CDs and
CDRWs in addition to DVDs? I seem to remember that when I was looking
into such things a year or two ago the term CD/DVD was used.

Sorry if this is obvious to most people, but I want to make certain.

Many thanks,

Douglas
