Hi Roger, DVDR discs will play fine in dvd players, although not all dvdr's
will work in all players, recorders etc. Unlike cdr's, which will play on
any player dvdr discs are less universal, in that certain discs are happy
with certain players wheras on others they won't work, and vice versa. It's
something that's always annoyed me. The sooner they sort out the format so
that any dvdr discs will work on any dvd player or recorder the better.
Until then you'll just have to find out what dvdr's your player or dvd drive
is happy with.
John.

Subject: [access-uk] DVD Question
Hi All
I have made a mistake and ordered some DVD-RW discs. Am I right in
thinking
they will only play on computers and will not be any good on DVD players?
This means they will be kept for programs and not films if that is so.
Many thanks
Roger
