Hi Eleanor.Well, I use ShowTime personally, that has a good set of keyboard commands, but that's part of the Nero suite of software, its not available separately.
Apart from that, I can't think of any other DVD playback software that I've found to be particularly keyboard friendly but then ShowTime has met my needs, so I haven't looked in to alternatives.
All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

This is a very interesting question posed by Chris. I hate going to use my DVD player on my PC because I just cannot operate it properly from the keyboard. I have power DVD. Any suggestions Ibrahim please? Start, Stop, Pause, Play commands.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "Ibrahim Gucukoglu" <ibrahim_gucukoglu@xxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 8:54 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: DVD Audio Extractor questionHi Chris. If you have Nero versions 7 and above, you'll have a perfectly adequate DVD player in the form of ShowTime. Other than that, I believe you can get light versions of PowerDVD or WinDVD for not too much coin. All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 1:57 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: DVD Audio Extractor questionOh ok. You can't pause playback and turn off your computer, expecting to resumelater, but apart from that, as long as you are prepared to find your placein the movie, you should be fine. Also, you should be aware that DVD AEbuffers chapters, so there might be a gap between each section of the movie while the dvd drive revs up to read the next bit, hardly ideal but then, theprogram's job is to extract audio not let you watch dvd's. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 1:16 PM Subject: [access-uk] DVD Audio Extractor questionHello all, I plan to watch a DVD I've borrowed from a friend. I'll be using DVD Audio Extractor for this. The question is, if I decide that I want to watch some of the movie later, is this possible? Or will I have to start from the beginning. The player functionality looks very simple, so thought I'd ask in case I'm missing something. Please advise. If it's that good I may even buy it as I'm currently using it as a 30 day trial.
