Cannot go too far wrong with the Pure Evoke 1 or 2, the latter is stereo and hence a little larger which I have. There are a variety of Roberts portables about, I particularly like the look of Gemini 11 which has facility to pause the DAB radio broadcast for up to 30 minutes. I haven't heard of it, but it's resemblance to 70s style Roberts is aesthetically rather nice. I don't think that any current DAB radios are much different in operation. Perhaps look for a large number of presets to make station selection easier. Regards. Something with good quality sound that she can carry from room to room in the house and not too complicated to operate. Any recommendations? Best.
