Cheers Kevin
Got the voices. As with anything free, they took a bit of tracking down. Some
are very good considering they are free, think Mike is the best.

If you have a recent version of JAWS, you'll have the Daniel voice that can
be selected in Text Aloud. Also, if you go to the downloads section of the
NextUp web site, towards the bottom of the list of voices, there's a set of
free voices that really are very good for most purposes.
Regards.

Hi Barbara, yes, you need to buy any additional voices. I bought Daniel
from them. I think it cost me about 30 quid. They also do cheaper voices I
think, but I didn't find them as good.
One nice thing about text aloud is that you don't have to pay for
upgrades. Once you've bought it that's it.
John.

Hi John
Many thanks for this info. I've downloaded it and got it working a treat
with no access problems whatsoever. I only have the Sappy 5 Sam voice at the
minute. If you have purchased the full version, do you get additional voices,
or do you have to pay extra for more voices? Sam is okay for short files, but I
think if I had to listen to him for any length of time I might want to punch
him!

Hi All
I need to do something either for free or for a small cost.
I have some MS Word notes for a student. The student has requested
them in audio format. How can I do this?
