Hi Jackie,

I use Office 2010 and JAWS just says 'footnote1, footnote2' etc etc and none
of the footnote text. There is, however, a 'footnote pane' at the bottom of
the screen where I cann just cursor down and read each of the footnotes in
turn - it is also possible to edit the footnote in this pane. It may be
different in 2003, but I cannot remember. I can install 2003 and try it out
if that would help?

John.

Hi Karl

There is an edit box in which you put your info that becomes your footnote.
It reads that, but puts bits of it in the text when you come to the footnote
in the text. I thought you would just see a number, but I'm not getting
that, but I am sure I am doing it properly. It's as useless as when you
create a rule in Outlook, JAWS is crap at that too.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Jackie,
When you drop into the footnotes with Jaws, what is the behaviour that isn't
right? Can you read line by line with the down arrow key?

Regards
Karl
