Hi Amro, The ability to record to VCR while playing the recording from Sky+ or live , or indeed to a DVD still exists. That is exactly how one would record to a PC, given that PC has appropriate video capture facilities, which most won't. It is just that the time shift facility that Sky+ offers does not enable fast dubbing from the hard disk to another media. Sky+ do lots of things to encrypt their transmissions in order to protect both their market place and copyright. You would need to emulates / duplicate the technology in a Sky+ box in your PC to effect what you want. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Very strange that Sky makes this operation pretty difficult to accomplish. The most thing I liked about Sky Plus was that I could save a program on it's hard drive, and then burn it to a DVD to keep a copy. Shame that turned to be a false assumption.
