Hi Kevin.
Perhaps you have damaged the socket and they are all connected. Not sure
mate. It's all a bit above me really. Perhaps a trip to the shop may be
the best idea as you've done just about everything else. Hope you get on
top of it.
Best wishes.
Andy

Hi Kevin.
2 of my 6 usb connections are not working. When I plug my printer into
one of the broken one, xp does not see it. Have you another usb port
available. Worth a try.
Best wishes.

Hi all,
As stated last night my backup drive is not showing up It's not showing
up in device manager or it's not showing up in my computer!
Now I have just found out when I connect a usb device such as my mp3
player up to the usb it's not showing up very frustrated I have done a
system restore back a few days I don't really like doing a system
restore as I don't really have much thaith in it.
I was going to do a reformat but if it's a hard ware fault that will
not fix anything.
Can someone help?
