I've had a look for this Chris and there are various sites to download it from, which is the best one to choose?

Hi Martin.
Windows 7 does not contain a "classic" view out of the box. If you however Google for "Classic Shell", without quotes, you can download and install that and you will be able to use the start menu like it was in Vista and earlier. It unfortunately does not change the Control Panel to classic view, however it does do so for the main Explorer.
Hope this helps.

Hi folks

I've just started with windows 7. First impressions is I don't like the
start menu, explorer and control panel view. Is there a way to change to
the 'classic' view, I've tried digging around but can't find the
controls to do this if it is at all possible. It was easy to find in XP
but I'm at a loss so far with windows 7. I've tried loading the XP mode
but it seems that it is a virtual screen which jaws cannot access.

Thanks
Martin
