Hi,
 
I have tried browsing through books in the library, and using the
whistle on the warewolf book with no joy.  I can't use the map (it asks
what with, and any item doesn't work, and examine doesn't give much that
I can fathum atm).

hi Andrew, when you have the whistle, go and browse through the books in
the library.
as for the forest, you can forget that till near the end of the game,
and don't forget to read the map.

        I need a few chillingham hints.  am I right in thinking that in
the forrest I have to go where there are no monsters?  Is this
predetermined or random?  Does the professor ever give you something
else other than the dog whistle when collecting bugs?
