John, the only issue about not filling it in on the actual census date would
be the questions about people not normally resident at your address who are
staying there on the census date.
I filled the form in online on Wednesday, as I am quite sure there will be
nobody staying with me on the census date. My contribution will, therefore,
be accurate.

Tom, it doesn't matter when you receive the form. The sensus day is 27th
March, at least in England it is. There's a reason for a specific date. It's
a snapshot of population, so if people could provide the information on any
day they chose it wouldn't be a proper snapshot, besides which it would
leave it open to manipulation.
