Hello Alexander,

Yes, you could install it if you no longer intend to use an
earlier version of OmniPage. Use the Control Panel,
Install/Uninstall feature.

refer to.
BTW, if the latest versions of omniPage do not use the care scan
manager,
should I uninstall it as I have it on my computer at present?
