Hi Steve.

 

You mentioned that you had bought one of these drives.  How do you find it
and what drive mechanism does your drive use?  I have a Sony Optiarc for
which a firmware update is available to version 1.02 from 1.01 which is
already in the drive.  I ask because a friend is considering buying one of
these for her netbook and I want to make sure I give her the right
information.
