Sandra - I hope that you don't mind me jumping in here, but there is something you might be able to clarify. I downloaded and installed CCleaner some time ago but never got round to using it. For one thing its interface did not seem very accessible with Hal (the screen reader I mainly use). NVDa seems to handle it much better and I intend to try it this weekend. As I understand it there are four tabs - Cleaner, Registry, Tools and Options. Is your reply referring to the Options or to the items in the large tree structure under Cleaner? I see that a few file types in the latter are unchecked by default but most are checked.
