Well as I read it Steve, he was just wanting to caution and get his point across and I would certainly have listened to that. Nowe do I need sighted assistance to update my BIOS? If I do and the person doesn't know much about computers and I am just using their vision, how should I instruct them to make sure I don't make a mess of things?

Hi Chris, Always one to over-react, aren't you? <Smile>. It is not asking for trouble to update the BIOS, it certainly should be done. But sighted assistance is essential. It is one year out of date and the machine thinks there is a flopy drive and that happened since I had a RAM upgrade. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
