Hi Ali,

It's still just possible that the two machines require
slightly different media, as I have discovered to my own
cost here at the office. I need +R at home and -R on a
system at the office. It's a real pain, especially when I
have to get 2-3 Gigs on Vista on to an installable DVD.

George.

No,
We can use them on a different machine.

Thank you.

Hi Ali,

Is it possible that the DVD media is at fault? I have a
Philips LiteScribe,
and it rejects most DVD-R DVDs, even Philips own brand, yet
is fine with
DVD+R disks.

George.

Hi,
I have NEC DVD+RW installed on my system. For some reason,
I am not able
to burn large files on DVD disks as data files. It does not
recognise DVDs
at all. I have tried using Nero 5.5, and, Windows xp burner
as well without
any luck.
I am using windows xp second ed with Jaws 7.1, Nero 5.5. I
have checked the
DVD+RW from systems and devise manager and it says it works
fine. Does
anyone know where I can go from here?

Thank you.
