Yes Derek - all downloads count whether they are considered by you to be spam or not. Sounds like you think you are getting too close to your monthly download limit? Could be time to change providers, I wholeheartedly recommend Plusnet -

Hi Andy The average daily news paper from Talking papers is about 300kb and on a Sunday it can be as much as 1.20mb Anyway thanks for confirming that this sort of thing does Count for download allowance. However, does that also mean spam mail counts as well! Seems I will have to be on unlimited package And Bt charges £25 a month!
