They've been out for some years officially now Christine.  I can't remember
exactly when, and I must say that I saw nothing wrong with keeping them!  I
tend now not to use them, since they've been dropped for a while and the
BrailleNote, for example, wouldn't read them correctly (in speech) without
putting them into the dictionary.
