  i had the same promlem for the last year.  i had my local shop fit a new 
power supply for £10 and that has cured the problem completely.

    For a while now this computerdoes not boot up as it should.  My way around 
this is just to keepswitching the power off and back on again.  I have to do 
this several times before eventually, the machine boots up.  While using the 
machine, if a restart is required, things start normally.  What I would llike 
to know is what can I do tosort this out or do I need some sighted assistance.
