Hi Carol Looks as though it was the WinCom Bluetooth software that came with the Netbook. Once I took it out, everything else fitted into place, and I was even allowed to update the optional Bluetooth hardware on the Microsoft Update site. Stupid how these silly things bug you, but that one really irritated me for a while. Well done, Jackie! Makes you feel good, doesn't it! So, which software was causing the conflict, the Netbook bluetooth software or something else? Just curious! -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: Jackie Cairns <mailto:jackie.cairns@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2008 9:10 PM Subject: [access-uk] Bluetooth problem solved!! Phew! I've finally cracked it everyone!! I created a restore point and, to cut a bit of a long story short, removed the WinCom Bluetooth software. Then I visited the Microsoft Update site and downloaded the only remaining hardware driver for Bluetooth that it wouldn't previously allow me to install. Then, once the Netbook restarted, I went to send a file from the NC10 to the N82 and this transferred perfectly like it ought to have done in the first place. I knew there was something about the software that was conflicting, so I'm glad to have resolved it. Thanks to all for your help as ever, and for allowing me to bend your ears about it!! (smiles).
