Or if you are very adventurous and have one around, use an optacon as a
friend of mine does.
BIOS is accessed before any operating system loads and there is therefore
no way to run a screenreader at this time.
Some people have had some success connecting a braille display using a
parallel port, i hear but I don't know anyone personally who accesses
their BiOS that way.
Finally, there is a $$$ gadget called a "weasle card" that can send bios
information to a second computer running a screenreader but this would be
a rather pricey way to access one's bios.
