Thanks Sandra, I did try typing +447900... But apparently, you have to leave
a space between the +44 and the number, otherwise the smart PayPal site
doesn't recognise it. Oh well. Thanks for your help.

Hi Amro,
It's quite a while since I did this, but I've a feeling I used the plus
sign, followed by 44 and then the rest of the number without the first zero
so it ended up as plus 44753 and so on.  Have you tried that one?
