I don't know why I didn't simply copy the following into my
earlier message.

George.

Manually Install the Backup Utility
To manually install Backup:=20
1. Double-click the Ntbackup.msi file in the following
location on the Windows XP Home Edition CD-ROM to start a
wizard that installs Backup:
CD-ROM Drive:\VALUEADD\MSFT\NTBACKUP =20
2. When the wizard is complete, click Finish. =20

Backup is actually on the XP Home CD, although it is not
installed by default.

It's quite straight forward to do, and is explained here.

Hello Petrina,

It depends if you have Windows XP Home or Pro. The home
edition=3D20
doesn't have MS Backup, so you will need to download it.
Please let=3D20
me know and I can send it to you off-list.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
