Barry!

This [probably happened because you were trying to use a copy of jaws 4.51
standard with xp pro, the two not being compatible and jaws pro needed with
xp! Cheers!

It must have been because I was using xp pro that my 4.51 wouldn't work
other than in demo mode.

  Barry!

Jaws has worked with xp since v4.01 and not just in demo mode! Cheers!

I believe that nothing earlier than jfw 5.0 will work properly with
Windows
xp. Earlier versions will only work in demo mode.

No, she still has five keys on the disk. Someone managed to install it
  but
when she restarted the computer jaws started working in demo mode.

    Thank you.

has the authorisation key run out? I think with Jaws, you only get so
  many
keys, or times to use the auth key to install jaws again and again.
Just
wondered if the auth key has run out.

We used to have this system of auth keys with zoomtext, until they've
done
awaay with that since version 8.0.

installed windows XP. Under XP, she could not install jaws
  authorisation.
The floppy makes running sounds but could not install the key. She went
back to windows 98 and she could not install the authorisation here too.
the floppy drive works but no,luck.
