                Hi Barry,
Success!!!
I ended up with 2 copies of phaser on my desk top one having been extracted
the other not.
I reckon I ran it last night from the one not extracted and hence did not
pick up the required files.
When I ran tonight making sure it was the right one it converted a u tube
video perfectly so many thanks.
By the way, not specifcally for u tube, I am doing this as I want the audio
off videos I receive in mail's etc.. The video downloader I use currently is
speedbit video downloader which does the job but you have to watch the video
or should I say run the video prior to downloading it.
Has anyone any ideas of a more efficent way of doing it.

Thanks again Barry and Amro

Cheers

Colin

Hi Colin,

Oh man, what a nightmare. I'm really sorry about this. It should be
quicker than showing you how to do this with Goldwave laughs. No worries
we'll get it sorted.

OK, there should be several ffmpeg files in your folder. Can you go in
there and presss the letter f just to confirm this? No need to write the
names back, unless you want too. There should be 4 of them.

If not, please delete the folder and extract it from the archive again. The
operation might have gotten interrupted as it was unzipping. I've just
extracted the file sitting in my Dropbox you downloaded and it's got four
ffmpeg files in there.

Carol, did yours extract OK?

Cheers,
Barry

menu to convert I am getting the message below Any thoughts please Thanks
Colin

Could not find FFmpeg encoder!
Remember to extract all files from the original ZIP archive
(Pazera_Free_Audio_Extractor.zip). Especially all EXE and DLL files.

Hi Colin, when you extract the rar file you get a normal folder which you
can then transfer or copy to any machine using a memory stick or any other
method. I can recommend 7-zip from 7-zip.org. This is a neat and free tool
to extract and archive files. It's quite a good idea to have an app that
handles zip and rar files on your machine anyway me thinks *smile*

Cheers,
Amro

Hmm,

What Operating System are you using Colin, and do you know if you have
anything like Winrar, or Winzip, installed for uncompressing files.

If you're still having problems, shout and I'll make the file into an exe,
so it'll install automatically as a folder in your Desktop.

Regards,
Barry.

If the Apps key is the right click then I have 10 options none of which is
Extract to Pazera_Free_Audio_Extractor. Or maybe the Apps key is somehting

Hi Colin,

Locate the .rar file. Hit your apps key on it, and go down to Extract to
Pazera_Free_Audio_Extractor. You can now delete the .rar and you'll have a
folder on your Desktop called, Pazera_Free_Audio_Extractor. In this folder
you'll find the audioe xtractor.exe, which is the program.

Regards,
barry.

Hi Barry,
Am being thick again.
I have never visited a drop box area before and when I click on your link I
get to download a rar document which goes to my desktop, when I try and open
that it just gives me the option to save the file again and round and around
in circles I go. I'm sure it is obvious when you know how! Thanks Colin

Hi Colin,

Sure convert them to one of the supported audio formats, mp3, ogg, (I think
it supports flac), with Pazera_Free_Audio_Extractor. Oh the other cool
thing is you can have it try to extract the oridginal audio from the file.
So if it was an mpeg video, chances are the audio would be in mp2 or mp3 and
it'l extract it. It should be fairly easy to figure out. Rather than send
you off to a bulky website to search for it grab it from this direct Dropbox
link of mine.

Regards,
Barry.

Hi All,
Having downloaded a couple of videos which I am not clear of the file format
as the dialogue box just said All Files from the web, one being from You
Tube which I guess was Flash Video I thought I would be able to play them on
my book sense but apparently not. I cannot recall the name of the programme
I used to download them but can anyone suggest a programme that would men I
could play back on the book sense.
The s impler the better.
Many thanks
Colin
