Hi Carol

It's a one time set up. Do it once and it's there for every time you
watch 
an AD programme. If you for some reason don't want to have the AD for
some 
particular show watch it on a channel that doesn't have AD for example
BBC1 
is on 926 as well as a low number I think 1. So with AD watch 926 for a
non 
AD watch 1.

My understanding is you must have the new handset to set up AD for the
first 
time on the system. The old hand set will go so far but will not
finalise it 
into the set because of the missing button.
