Andy,
I am loe-vision. I can only play the sample by clicking on a tiny graphic with a physical mouse arrow placed over the graphic which appears right after the word "sample" using my magnifier. I am not able to play the sample using my keyboard.
Hope this helps.

Hi Alexander -

Just for clarity, and as you offered, would you mind doing a search for a book title [it won't matter how old it is] and on the results page, use JFW to locate and play the Sample. I've tried it with JFW 9 and 11, and neither mouse clicking or pressing enter/space anywhere on the word 'sample' makes any difference.

Thank you -

Andy

Hi Ibrahim, Andy and all,

Here is part of a message I sent in response to an earlier
message from Iain Lackie on either this thread or a similar
one. I've put the re-posted text in quotes as I wish to
make some comments following it.

"I tried to read a sample on my desktop which is running
windows XP, Jaws 12 (latest build), and Magic 11, (latest
build.

Please note I only referred to magic in the last sentence as
I have some residual vision and use it in combination with
jaws, although, I did not use the mouse when trying to
access a sample on www.Audible.co.uk.

The odd thing is that I believe my set-up is similar to
yours Iain, and yet I could get a sample to play. Although
whether that was because I'd searched for a title which was
old enough to have been available prior to the enhanced
format of Audible, I can not say.

I hope what I've said in this message is of help in some
way."

Please note that there has been a further update to Jaws 12
since I originally wrote the text quoted above, and also
that I am actually running Windows XP Pro.

If it helps I could have another try at reading the audible
samples and come back to the list.
