Hi again George.

Occasionally McAfee asks if you wish to allow or deny access to your computer, when for example, logging onto msn. It does this by presenting you with a dialogue box which has radio buttons in it. Although I can see a white box, about the size of a fag packet, at the bottom of my screen, I cannot find a keystroke to get me onto the radio buttons, and subsequently, I had to ask my wife Pauline to check them off or on for me. I just wondered if other users had managed to get around this problem.

Best wishes.

Hi Andy,

I'm not sure what these dialog boxes are that you mention,
so it's difficult to be comment. Normally, once McAfee is
set up, and you have scheduled a time for regular updates,
you can essentially leave it to get on with its job.

George.

Hi George.

When I purchased my new computer from PC World in December
I
also purchased, for Â28.00 McAfee. Unfortunately, I could

not access this program, as dialogue boxes with radio
buttons
would appear at the bottom of my screen which I needed
sighted assistance to check or un-check. Subsequently, I
changed to Norton. I don't understand Norton George and
hope
that it is working away in the background, but Â28.00 was
quite a lot of cash for nothing. The program is now
sitting
in a drawer.

Anyone else use McAfee. and should I struggle with it,
rather
than staying with Norton, which will cost me Â45.00 in a
week
or so, when my 80 day trial ends?

Best wishes.
Andy
