Does anyone have a link to a quick and informative podcast about the
iPhone's accessibility? I want to hear it being used.

Sunil, haven't you made one yet? Lets all get Sunil to do one with how
the iPad might work in mind. I remember him on In Touch, I swear he'd be
any good.

The iPhone is easy to use if you can't see the screen. When VoiceOver is
on and you touch the screen, VoiceOver announces what link or shortcut
your finger is on but doesn't open it - which it would if you did not
have VoiceOver on.. To do that, you tap the screen twice quickly.

How usable and good is the IPhone for blind people? Our computer support
guy in the disability unit wants to know how can a blind person use it
because its touch screen?
I always sort of regret that I could never really experience the Mac. I
read the articles in the american blind magazines about how rubbish vo
was, but thought they were doing it out of the interests of the people
who make screen readers. When I was looking for a laptop for uni my
brother and I went to an apple shop because I wanted to see it. I was
really upset though because the salespeople weren't really bothered to
help, they didn't even know what vo was, let alone how to put vo on for
me to have a look and when we eventually got it on my brother and I
basically didn't really know how to make it work. Plus I'd heard that
there wasn't a good word processor that worked with vo, just the basic
Apple one which apparrently doesn't let you do much to the documents to
make them presentable enough.
