Oh yeah James, forgot to say in my last email that, I don't know if this is true or if it was someone who spread a rumour, but do you know how Narrator came about? Well, there's this story that Microsoft actually wanted to do what Apple is doing, but then the screenreader manufacturers and blindness organisations complained that they would lose revenue and that it was unfair, so Microsoft just put in the basic narrator. I don't really know the situation of the NFB in America, and when I ask people they get evasive and won't explain to me, but one thing I don't understand is there's apparrently this huge sort of rivalry between the NFB and the ACB. They apparrently don't like, and criticise each other, but I don't know why. Ari
