Hi there. Well, a couple of weeks ago I took the plunge and got an iPhone on contract with Orange. I actually quite like lots of things about it and, after the learning curve, am pretty adept at using it - though will need to build up the typing speed. I've been using WiFi. Due to an admin issue, I've not been able to use 3G on it until a couple of days ago. And now I'm terribly disappointed. I used to get fantastic web access on my old Nokia N82 but, the journey into work on the East Anglia line gives me no internet for 95% of the journey using iPhone. So. Does anyone know anything about this? Are Apple iPhones known for not being able to pick up 3G as well as Nokia phones? Even at home, when I do get a web page, even a page optimised for mobile, it's taking almost a minute for the page to render. And when I take the sim out and use my old Nokia, it works beautifully and downloads a page in less than 2 seconds. Any experiences on this appreciated. I've effectively gone and thrown away my daily newspaper on the commute into London and am really quite distressed about it. Oh and what likelyhood getting the iPhone exchanged at Carphone Warehouse? It's been less than 2 weeks now. ...Damon Damon Rose Senior Content Producer bbc.co.uk/ouch BBC Vision Learning Tel: 020 8752 4427 (x0224427) email: damon.rose@xxxxxxxxx Have you heard the award-winning Ouch Podcast yet?
