A gripe is putting it a bit strongly Steve. I said this in the hope that someone might actually know how I might resolve the problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Eleanor, I don't think that is the point. These are just personal gripes of yours. I have some about the iPhone too, like the calendar app isn't that great. Also adjustable indexses are not that intuitive when you are searching for aletter of say an artist. But it works, albeint inefficiently. Anotherthing is that if I hit the character C I have to listen to talks say 2 C.----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, June 08, 2010 2:23 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Apple Unveils iPhone 4 and New Accessibility Features-- The Mac-cessibility Network - News [Lioncourt.com]Hi Chris, But Apple isn't the only game. Talks will let you access touch screens, as will Mobile Speak. I applaud Apple for what they are doing for making these otherwise inaccessible devices accessible. I am contemplating getting an iPod Touch myself, and I can see my family be amazed when I tell them I can use a touch screen without sighted assistance.
