A gripe is putting it a bit strongly Steve. I said this in the hope that someone might actually know how I might resolve the problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Eleanor,

I don't think that is the point. These are just personal gripes of yours.
I have some about the iPhone too, like the calendar app isn't that great.
Also adjustable indexses are not that intuitive when you are searching for a
letter of say an artist. But it works, albeint inefficiently.

All the best

Steve

Yes but I have a headache with Talks on my N97 Mini Steve when I am writing text messages. first of all I need to ensure I hit the correct part of the number in predictive text i.e. to the right of the number else if I hit bang

on I get the number itself inserted rather than the letter desired. Another

thing is that if I hit the character C I have to listen to talks say 2 C.

Hi Chris,

But Apple isn't the only game. Talks will let you access touch screens,
as
will Mobile Speak.

All the best

Brilliant idea. I applaud Apple for what they are doing for making these
otherwise inaccessible devices accessible. I am contemplating getting an
iPod Touch myself, and I can see my family be amazed when I tell them I
can use a touch screen without sighted assistance.
