[access-uk] Re: Anyone using BT Call Sign?

Hi Ray!

Further to my last message I currently use callsign on an old Panasonic
cordless without problem although am about to replace it so will be
interesting to see if it works on the new one! Cheers!

Thanks for that JOhn. I did think after I sent the message that
the issue with Call Sign maybe that I use a Panasonic Cordless
phone which doesn't include the traditional ring ring tone, so I
hav my doubts the that Call Sign will do what I am after in this
case.

From: "John Farley" I did try it.

The phones I have, BT Synergy 3100, did not give a different call
for the
different numbers.

I therefore decided it was not a good way of using the various
options
available.

Subject: [access-uk] Anyone using BT Call Sign?

Sorry folks if this question borders on what is usually on-topic
for both
lists.

Simply, I am asking: Is anyone using BT Call Sign? Am I right
in thinking
that you get two incoming numbers on which people can call you,
both with a
different ring tone? Any implications for internet use; though
I wouldn't
think so because I am on broadband these days.

Thanks.
Ray
