Hi Alistair Well glad to know it's not quite as bad as I thought. My son had to pay £70 to O2 for having his fixed. He couldn't charge the battery on his phone, and the display gave him a message that the software needed updating. Anyway, it got all sorted in the end, but they said it was due to a crack in the screen of his Ericsson. Kind regards, J Jackie Cairns cairnsplace@xxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of alistair Sent: 25 October 2009 15:36 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Anyone know where I can access nokia spare parts? hi Jackie, it's about 35 quid for a genuine nokia screen, fitting is not a problem, as it only takes seconds to fit. Sadly I did not take the Orange insurance and a cracked screen is not part of the 24 month Nokia guarantee. I just love the phone so will probably part with the cash, Interestingly you can buy a generic screen to fit the N82 on E bay for about a tenner but guess you only get what you pay for!
