Hi Chris,
It could be a router issue, because MSN and such don't use Port 80, or Port
8080, and it sounds like whatever that problem is is blocking those specific
ports. My money's on the router.

This is interesting. How can it be a router issue when she can use MSN
Messenger and send and receive e-mails, but not browse the web? Mandy,
just a thought. Why don't you try an alternative browser like Mozilla
Firefox? You can get it from http://www.mozilla.org. It's fast,
reliable, and, most importantly, is more secure than IE as far as I'm
concerned. Hope that helps.
