simple problem this one I think. For some reason there are a load of
traphics just labeled transparent.

I don't know if you were told this is meant to help you or whether you are
just guessing this but it is a great example of a simple oversite causing a
website to be less usable than it might otherwise be.

Cheers

Subject: [access-uk] Anoying 'transparant' word on website

Maybe one for Tink, and knowledgeable web designers, and I've brought this
up
on the Window-Eyes list and it seems the problem I have with a website is
down to a duff design error, although probably one designed and written in
to
help us, apparently!

Go to:

www.workdirections.co.uk

Very likely when the screen is read to you you will hear the word
'transparent being read all over the place. I'd like JFW and Dolphin users
to confirm this - or otherwise. The explanation seems to be around an issue
with Active X or 'on clicks' -being labelled for our benefit but - my
knowledge is virtually non-existent around these subjects.

So I would be glad if some here would confirm whether this is a problem for
them or not. When I'm more certain of my ground I can contact the web
master. Seems a shame because, on the face of it, it seems they've made an
attempt at accessibility.
