Subject: [access-uk] Announcement: heavy duty shoe/boot snow chains for VIs now available

Hello All,

I make this announcement after securing the List Moderator's
approval. I have made and tested in all conditions which
have pertained in the last two months my own shoe and boot
chains and I still have a quantity of good quality heavy
duty welded link 3 mm thick zinc coated steel chain and 8 mm
protected black shock cord (bungee) available. If anyone
would like me to make them some to size, I would be willing
to do so, at a cost of £15.00 including postage. These snow
and ice chains are much stronger and harder wearing than any
of the commercial chains I have seen and will not break if
knocked on pavement edges, bollards, fencing and the like
and can be used in patchy ice and snow on pavement, concrete
and tarmac. If you want to know more or order some, please
phone me on 0113 2575957 or email me at:
j.wilson07@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
All the Best,
John.
