If you've not used this recently, you should take a look. You no longer have to download files which I used to find a pain. Once you've tapped your password in, you can read newspapers on the web, all on one page, with headers for each article title that you can easily skim through. They're very long pages and can be anything from around 30 articles for Disability Now up to around 300 for The Sunday Times. And as I say, all on one page so you can just hit the letter H to jump to the next heading. And the next. And the next. It's better than it's ever been and newspapers are available early in the morning, certainly many before I get in to work at 8am. It costs 39 pounds for an annual subscription. Very good value. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Graham Lewis [gjl] Sent: 12 April 2011 13:44 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Announcement National Talking Newspapers and Magazines I have been using this service for a number of years and it works fine. The range of magazones is limited and I am not a newspaper reader but I regukarky read 2 weeklys and one monthly and look forward to theor arrival in my email box. I can now get the same content free of charge on the web, but the cpnvenience of having this arrive as plain text, ready for me read, is worth the reasonable annual charge. Until or if services like Amazon Kindel are trul accessible, this service is invaluable. This looks promising to me at least. Now I live on my own, it would be wonderful to read newspapers and magazines that everybody else reads in an accessible format. The pricing looks pretty good as well, £39 a year, working out to just 75p a week. I have downloaded some sample newspapers and magazines which they offer as a free trial. So will read them and go from there. Take care.
