Er, sorry to contradict Lawrence, but the USA is region 1,
while we are Region 2.

Lawrence says USA are Region 2 as we are, so there must be a
different
reason why the DVD won't play, maybe its a Bad copy? Have
you tried playing
it on the computer as well as the D VD player?  Are you sure
its in DVD
format and not DVIX or something?

The reason why the DVD won't play is because the region for
the states
is different to ours (region 2). Don't know a solution, but
I hope that
