Hi Chris
How about having a package of free anti-spy on a pen drive to take with
you
for such an occasion?
Cheers
Barry

Hi all,
I went to do some maintenance yesterday at my friend's house using her
laptop running XP Home. I uninstalled everything, including her antivirus,
and didn't realize that her DVD drive wasn't working properly till too
late.
So I've now left her without an antivirus, but managed to get her some
antispyware protection. What do you all think of me checking stuff out
before doing any such maintenance? I didn't know this should have been
done
before anything else till tonight. Any comments on this would be greatly
appreciated. I just hope she manages to find at least AVG 7.5 Free as
she's
still using JAWS 8. Thanks in advance!
