A mobile phone with talks on seems like a good way of storing numbers.
Alternatively, he could use a digital recorder. Each number could be
stored
as a separate file.

Hi All
A close friend who is totally blind but not a PC user keeps his telephone
numbers and such like on a small cassette recorder. It's painful to be
there
when he's hunting for a number as it's all done by memory and his isn't as
good as he thinks it is so it can be a long wait.
I would like to buy him for his birthday in the not too distant future a
better system for him to use. But everything I can think of revolves
around
a computer and he's just not interested in one at all.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be a better answer to him than
the out-dated system he's currently using. He's fairly good with technical
things so it doesn't have to be too simplistic so any help would be most
appreciated.
Roger
