That is a point James, I just went to Open Attachment. Now tell me please because I messed up saving images to my phone, how will I save the e-mail attachment? When I say I messed up the saving of images, I mean I was sent them in a Media message. They are there I can see them in Galery but I cannot see them in the Images folder when I connect to my PC. Steve has suggested I would see them through PC Suite but as yet I have not really used PC Suite.

Hi Eleanor,You'll need some software on your phone that can open Word documents. Quick Office should open them, if you can save the file first to your phone. On Sunday, December 07, 2008 at 03:37 PM (GMT), Eleanor Burke wrote: EricaThat is excellent, I never thought of looking for Options a second time whenI got to Edit. What I want to know now Erica is this. If I get an e-mail attachment by way of a word document can I open it and read it. I got one but it was readingall sorts of 'rubbish' for want of a better word. I am wondering if that was because when my niece downloaded the word document she downloaded itfrom the Internet and maybe it had all the internet language for putting onthe web if you see what I mean. Now if I had opened the word document as attachment via my computer rather than the mobile, it would have been just fine. Maybe I need another programme put in to my phone to read Word documents. What do you say please? Now go options again and add newdetail. This brings up a list which you can choose from. Select email fromthe list-it is quite a long one, ok that and input the address, pressing key 2 when done. You should by rights be sorted with that now. Any more problams let us know. Also if you need these instructions separated out I can do that too.Erica. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2008 2:47 PM To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Well Amro I am looking at this again. I also noted Steve's comment re Clive's suggestions. Bow I appreciate all 3 of you taking time to assist me.Think is if I set defaults then that too can have its drawbacks in that Iwill want to use call, text and e-mail. Where I am having the problemis that I want to add e-mail addresses. Now that is fine if I receive ane-mail from someone I can save their e-mail address (I discovered) but for those that have not yet responded which I have not accessed yet through my mobile. I want to add them in and here is wher I getconfused. I thought I would go to Edit but that does not allow me to putin an e-mail address. I also have this problem where I have someone's mobile and then I get a landline number for them, I cannot put in viaEdit either. This ends up with me having them in twice, onece mobile andonce landline. I lshould not have to do that.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "Amro Bilal" <amro_bilal@xxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 3:59 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Eleanor, go to Contacts, open the contact you need to configure by selecting it, open the Options menu (key one), arrow down to Defaults, select it and you can specify what defaults are used for that contactfrom there such as phone number, text message number, email address etc.Cheers, Amro----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 3:31 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Clive I tried this actually and then I went to send an e-mail and for instance it kept saying Rosie Mobile when I wanted it to say Rosie E-mail. I had no way of checking if it was going to be her mobile ore-mail that would come up because as I say it insisted on Rosie Mobile.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "Clive Pallett" <clive.pallett@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 3:17 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Hello Eleanor,Glad to hear you have e-mail set up on your phone. When editing a contact, choose edit and then you need to go into options again. You can quickly do this by pressing the joystick in. The first option is Add Detail. Select this and you can choose one from the list, which is quite long, so arrow down to E-mail. You can add as many details to a contact as you wish.Hope this helps.Best wishes,Clive Pallett** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq-- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
